Scope & X-Y Chart & Angular Chart
In most industrial applications, the scope is the primary tool to monitor the
real-time progress and analyze the process performance. In most financial and
commercial applications, X-Y Chart is a main component for people to demonstrate
all the collected data. In some military fields or motion process control fields
like Robot motion control, aircraft flight control, the Angle Chart is also an
important tool to monitor or analyze the motion process.
ActiveX Plotter, XYChart, XYChartEx and AngleChart Controls are very powerful to
meet many kinds of customers' application requirements. The Plotter Control is a
dynamic two-dimensional charting component that provides an ideal interface for
viewing one or more streams of real-time data. It is mainly used to draw the
process curves. XYChart control is similar to the plotter control, but XYChart
control is designed to focus static data display and analyses, and shows the
relationship among all data. Of course, sometimes we can use XYChart to show the
dynamic process curves, but it is not as efficient as what the plotter does.
XYChartExt is an extension of XYChart with many new features like
1) Legend support. Visibility, position and background color can be configured;
2). Powerful border design is supported;
3). Gradient background can be configured;
4). Plot background image rendering support;
5). Logarithm support;
6). Y Scale Name & Unit, X Name & Unit support;
7). Header & Footer features are supported for people add some text descriptions for the charts;
8). Vertical draw direction support.
Angle chart control is similar to the X-Y chart control, but Angle chart control draws curves
based on the (Length, Angle) coordinate system, not (X, Y) coordinate system.
